  7. It is always a pleasure to have humming birds in the garden. They are fascinating to watch as they go about their daily routine.

  9. SAPHOTOGRAPHS...I'm so spoiled with them, I get so many because I put numerous feeders out for them. It would be so nice to see a unique one or a different kind of hummer. Thanks Joan!

JAYNE...It was just luck where he landed and how he positioned himself on the branch. I am especially fond of them...my Mom said watch the Hummingbirds and the butterflies and think of me, before she passed away. Thanks Jayne!

  10. How adorable!! We just put up our hummingbird feeders this past week and already we've had quite a few visitors! They're such gregarious little critters. Were you able to id this one? He looks like a ruby-throated hummer although it's tough to tell from this angle. In any event, he certainly is a cutie!

Have a great day in your backyard!

  11. SAMANTHA...You are right, Sam, it is a Ruby-Throated Hummer, that's the only one I have ever seen around here. Good thing you got your feeders out. All of those little tiny hungry hummers were waiting on you.
You must show some photos of your variety of little ones!!
    Thanks, Sam!
